CATEGORIES THROUGH WHICH YOU CAN MIGRATE TO CANADA
Diversity has always been an integral element of Canada’s culture. In fact, it can be proclaimed that there is hardly any country which celebrates multicultural and ethnicity the way Canada does. The government immigration practices are flexible to suit the needs of the individuals from the individuals at risk to the most elite wealthy class. Canada has with open arms welcome the students as well the professionals from various domains. The move has not only proven to be an enhancement of culture but also embarked upon strengthening the economy in a big way. The citizens of other countries have thronged in great numbers and the trend continues with their descents equally contributing to the workforce and the country’s success.
The history of Canada is proof that it has been a land of opportunities for potential immigrants since the early 16th century. It was following the 20th century, the demographics shifted to incorporate the minorities representing South Asia and China. According to Statistics Canada Report, the major contributing factor to the increased population is immigration. The evergrowing population has seen the total increase of 3,21,065 in the year 2018 and the population had escalated to 37,314,442 by the year 2019 following the entry of a record number of immigrants in the last quarter of the preceding year. The group of Indians immigrating to Canada belong to an educated group, with more than 60% of the immigrants in the year 2017 had either a graduate or a post-high school certification. Although it can be argued that unemployment with immigrants is about 0.5% higher than natural born Canadian citizens over the last couple of years, there is a hope that the employability factor shall change after the immigrants have stayed on for a longer period of time. As compared to other western countries like the United States and the UK, which are implying stringent immigration policies making it tougher for the future immigrants, Canada, on the other hand, has a flexible view of the immigrants with more than half of the individuals participating in the survey agreed that the progress of the country is possible owing to its multicultural values and the remaining saying that the immigrants were the pillars for the future stability of the economy.
